Emily Young

Currently, I'm using my 15 years experience in design and advertising to operate Emily Young Creative. I've been able to put my skills to use from estimating a job to production and fullfilment. Although most of my years have been spent in the world of food I'm currently working on retail marketing and design for home electronics.

When starting a project I always write down the very first thing that comes to mind, followed by a look at the industry or background of the project. Next, I spend my time sketching ideas and looking for inspiration. Finally I sort my ideas into different buckets or directions. This allows me to make sure that I'm looking at it from multiple angles.

Design is not my only passion but I can't help finding it in everything I do. I also love photography, traveling and the outdoors. While growing up I spent a lot time trout fishing with my Dad and sisters. There is something about the peace and quiet along with the competition that keeps me out there. My family is the most important part of my life and they bring me strength and inspiration everyday.
